Karen Sosa represents Ecuador. She is a graduate of the National Music Conservatory in Quito. Karen was a winner of many festivals in Central and South America. She was a soloist at the Choir of Papal Catholic University of Ecuador and the Choir of Equinoctial Technological University – she was touring with them both in her native country and abroad. She also performed as a soloist in the world premiere of «Misa desde la Mitad del Mundo» written by the famous Ecuadorian composer E. Florencia.
Karen continues her vocal studies. She takes an active part in various contests. During the pandemic she won 3 out of 6 prizes at an online contest, her rivals representing the USA, Mexico, Venezuela, Colombia, Russia, Spain and Ecuador. In addition to her music activities Karen also teaches English and Spanish.
Yang Pu is a lyrical tenor from China. His family was always very fond of music. His parents often took him to various concerts and shows. They also used to buy a lot of tapes with Chinese music and world-famous classics. According to Yang, his decision to become a singer was also influenced by his interest in Soviet and Russian songs. He’s graduate of the Shanghai Conservatory. Yang has been a prize winner in many international contests.
In his homeland the singer actively takes part in concerts and public activities. He’s Deputy General Secretary of Musicians’ Department at the Composers’ Union of China. He’s an honorary soloist at Xīnjiang Arts Theatre and a lead singer at Changji Symphony Orchestra. Yang Pu’s hobbies are photography, fine arts, sports and travels.
Marko Dolaš is a famous Serbian singer, actor and TV presenter. He’s been singing since his childhood years. Marko also finished guitar class at the music school. He is a graduate of Arts Academy in Belgrade. His repertoire is very diverse. It contains Serbian and Balkan folk songs and romances as well as international hits. Marko is active on television. He has voiced more than 100 cartoon characters. His songs are often used in the movies.
In 2020, as a tribute for the 75-th victory anniversary, he gave a concert in the Serbian town of Niš. In 2021 his concert “The songs of the War Years” was held at the Victory Museum in Moscow.
Guillaume Rat is a French singer and a poet. In his works he promotes family values, ideas of humanism. Guillaume also calls for strengthening ties between Russia and France. He is an Ambassador of Russian Culture in France. He has taken part in the «Immortal Regiment» international movement to commemorate his grandmother who taught him to love Russian culture. As a person who survived through the hardships of the war, she bequeathed to preserve peace and remember heroic deeds of previous generations. That’s why Guillaume has a genuine interest in the history of WWII. He is on friendly terms with some of the «Normandie-Niémen» airborne squadron.Guillaume has given several concerts in the Kremlin Palace and partnered with many popular Russian artists.
Inés Cuello is an Argentinian musician whose versatility and talent allow her to go from one genre to another. Inés made her public singing debut at age 5. Later she started to take guitar and piano lessons and at the age of 16 every Wednesday she traveled 250 km to take singing classes in Buenos Aires. That coming and going, sustained for several years, was the first step of a career set by travel and music.
At 20 years old, she won the first place as a female tango singer in the most important contest in Buenos Aires and since then tours extensively. She performed in Latin America, Europe, Asia. She collaborates with many famous musicians and has already recorded 3 solo albums. Her other passion is teaching. And in parallel, she develops her new projects and tours.
Amato Scarpellino is an Italian singer and songwriter. He was born in Rome. He’s been into music since he was a child. In 2006 Amato reached the finals of the «Amici» TV show for young Italian talents. That was the start of his solo career in pop music.As a member of Four One he toured across Italy. Many of his tracks went to the top of the charts – some of them became TV hits. In 2015 Amato took part in X Factor Europe where he went into the semi-final. In 2020 he became a part of the All Together Now project. Amato has released several albums. He keeps on touring around Europe and writing songs.
Dana is a singer and songwriter. She graduated from the Department of Acting at Tel Aviv University and Tel Aviv School of Arts. She does a lot of on-stage performances. Dana is also active in the film industry – she has roles both in Hebrew and Russian.Itay is a professional musician, singer, composer and musical producer. He studied jazz music at Rimon college of Music with an emphasis on rock, pop jazz and musicals. At the same time, he attended classical piano classes at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance. Itay is also a graduate of Conductors’ Courses in the Netherlands. He has released 3 albums with his rock band. Itay also performs onstage as an actor and sings in the Domovoy group with his wife Dana.
Joshua Orabiyi was born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria. He began singing when he was a child. Joshua’s father was a Christian pastor. It means that the kid grew up in the church. Singing is a very important part of his life. It is a hobby that became his profession. During his university years he got an onstage experience. Joshua even received a “Golden Voice” nickname. Since then Joshua has taken part in various music festivals where he won some of the prizes. He considers himself an international performer. Joshua loves music and sees the meaning of his life in being an artist.
Lee Wook Jae is a Korean vocalist. He comes from a music loving family. His mother is a professional piano player. He began his music classes at an early age, later graduating from the Sangmyung University in Seoul, one of the best in the country. Then he continued his education abroad.
The singer loves operas of Tchaikovsky. Thanks to “The Road to Yalta” festival he learned about many Russian songs. He likes their melodies and lyrics.During his spare time Wook Jae enjoys playing and watching football. He loves traveling but at the same time he admits that Seoul always lives in his heart.
Zarenoush Aghoorian comes from Iran. She got a degree of psychologist at the Payam Noor University in the city of Isfahan. Zarenoush is a very artistic personality by nature. She’s keen on theatrical art, drawing and singing. In her childhood years Zarenoush began vocal studies. She took private lessons and studied at the Isfahan Music School. Zarenoush participated in international music contests in Armenia, France and Germany. She has recently taken part in the XV Yerevan International Shakespeare Theater Festival, where she acted as Lady Macbeth. She does a lot of public activities in the sphere of arts and culture. She is the first ever female President of the Persian Armenian Association that provides educational support for young people. Zarenoush has a lot of hobbies: she is good at cooking and making pastry. She is an active advocate of animal protection efforts.
Vanit Bakshi is a professional singer, songwriter and composer from India. At the age of 18 he realized that singing was his passion. Vanit began his studies of traditional Indian music and vocals in his hometown of Jalandhar. Shortly after that he had to stop classes but he never left the dream to become a professional singer. Vanit met several Bollywood celebrities and started to record cover versions of their popular hits. Then he discovered the talents of a songwriter and composer. For several years he’s been writing songs for Bollywood singers. He also began his career as a vocalist. Vanit has released more than 8 songs of his own. Some of them will soon be featured in Indian films. He also produces music videos for Indian singers. Vanit shot one of his own clips in Yalta, Crimea.
Aylin Yeshilsev represents Turkey. She is a student of International Journalism but she can’t imagine her life without music. Aylin is a graduate of the music school. She plays the piano, the guitar and ukulele. She began taking vocal classes at the age of 16 and performs songs in Turkish, English, French and Russian. Aylin has taken part in several music contests.
Pamela Magalí Garrote Fernández represents Spain, although she finds it difficult to say where she comes from. Pamela was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, lived in Mexico for 6 years. Now she is based in Madrid. For more than 20 years her life has been connected with music, tango and flamenco. Pamela constantly builds up her professional skills by training with the best professionals in Argentina, Mexico and Spain. She took part in television shows, variety concerts and theatrical productions. Pamela is also involved in teaching activities.
She travels a lot and performs at various venues. Pamela says that music for her is both a way of life and the language to communicate with the world. She has recorded 2 albums. Currently she is working on her new releases.
Bushra Mahfoud is a professional singer from Syria. She is a graduate of High Music Institute in Damascus. She performed at Dar Al Assad Centre of Culture and Arts (the Syrian National Opera). Bushra often tours in the Middle East, Egypt, Algeria, Tunisia, UAE, Turkey, Bulgaria, Italy and other countries. She took part in the Alexandria International Festival in Egypt. She is also a regular participant in master classes of musicians from Russia and Canada. Bushra has released several singles. The singer’s dream is to set up her own group and embark on a world tour.
Ricardo Oliveira was born in Rio de Janeiro. He’s been on stage since the age of 14. During his studies at the Cora Pavan Caparelli Conservatory he began his solo career as a guitar player and singer. As a member of several groups, he toured all over Brazil. As the musical director, he worked with Sambateria Latin percussion group, international cover groups such as Sunday Orchestra and Friends, as well as with the Sabotage and Gipsy Kings. For Ricardo, being a part of the «The Road to Yalta» festival is an opportunity to make friends with the artists from various parts of the world and a chance to learn more about Russian culture and values.
